Reflections 2018

Each year is full of surprises & excitement. This year was also a similar one. I learnt many new things, I developed as a person, I evolved many skills, I imbibed many life lessons. I have also made many mistakes this year however, by seeking & making mistakes we learn. So, we should be open to learning new things. Next year (2019) I resolve to learn more & will try to improve on the mistakes I did this year like.
-
Organizational skills
-
I need to critically & creatively think
-
I need to be more punctual & efficient in my work.
-
I need to balance my play & study time.
-
I need to be more confident & speak up in class.
-
I need to be open minded & listen to other’s ideas.
Overall, this year was a great one for me. I started this year in a new school, made new friends, have learnt new ways of learning. I always want to learn more & more. I also learnt to express myself through writing. I wrote a lot this year in form of blogs, articles, etc. I have also learnt how to express myself through drama. In drama I learnt many storytelling artforms which are used across the world. So, this year I learnt how to express myself through various forms. I also have achieved a lot this year. Like I got good grades in Olympiads, I got good grades in exams, I got selected for cricket districts & got into the team. I played a lot of new sports this year (squash, badminton), explored new places (Ka natal, ).
To sum it up, this year was a great one, which was full of surprises, excitement & joy

Most importantly I became a global citizen. I respected people this year regardless of their shape, size, complexion, gender, etc. I helped people in need during the festive season by sharing happiness with them by distributing sweets & clothes to them. One big lesson I learned this year was to respect people regardless of their physical or mental defects & to help & spread happiness to people in need. It is a very important aspect of life to feel gratitude for what we have & help people in need. Earlier I didn’t practice such a thing but now my thought process has changed
I hope 2019 is also full of surprises & is better than my last years. I will manage my time well to have a cheerful new year.

This year I will also step into my teenage. Reflection is the key to a better year. So, this year I will try to reflect on my mistakes last year to improve in the coming years & make most of the time I have next year.
